Conspiracy Theories

There are many people who claim that Tupac Shakur is still alive.

This is a list of "evidence." There are countless other theories we have not included, mainly song lyrics, that we felt could not be listed as valid reasons. Here are some reasons why people believe 2Pac still lives:

* The album The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory is one of the main foundations supporting the conspiracy theories surrounding 2Pac’s death.

2Pac recorded the album under the name Makaveli... Machiavelli was an Italian war strategist who advocated faking one's death to fool their enemies. 2Pac studied Machiavelli's writings while in jail.

The album cover depicts 2Pac crucified on a cross like Jesus Christ. We all know what happened after the crucifixion… there was a resurrection.

Instead of Suge Knight, the executive producer on the album is listed as "Simon." Simon was the apostle who helped Jesus carry the cross and one of the first to witness his resurrection. Some people say Suge Knight (CEO of Death Row records and Executive Producer of All Eyez On Me) is Simon.

* There are many instances of the number seven:

1. 2Pac was shot on September 7th. 2. After the shooting, 2Pac survived for seven days. 3. 2Pac's vehicle was shot 12 times; 5 of those bullets hit 2Pac. That leaves seven bullets. 4. 2Pac's recorded time of death, 4:03, adds up to 7 (4 + 0 + 3). 5. A voice on the album says, "And if the Lord returns in the coming seven days, then we'll see ya next time." 6. 2Pac's first release on Suge Knight's Death Row label, All Eyez On Me, was released on February 13, 1996 - exactly seven months before his death. 7. It’s in the album’s title. Many believe that the meaning behind the "seven day theory" (part of the album's title) is 2Pac will return September 2003… seven years after his death.

* Other reasons that have nothing to do with the album are as follows:

Friday the 13th (the day 2Pac died) is widely regarded as a superstitious day.

2Pac always wore a bulletproof vest, but for some reason he didn't wear one the night of September 7. Why?

The memorial services that were open to the public were canceled in both Los Angeles and Atlanta. Since when is there no procession, or anything, for a star of his magnitude?

2Pac's vehicle got shot 12 times and Suge didn't get hit once.. He claims his head was "grazed" by a bullet.. Why did 2Pac get hit all those times and not Suge? And why is there no medical documents to prove Suge's injury?

Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert. Yet the white Cadillac containing the assailants was never found or pursued by helicopter or squad car. It's hard to believe that in a city full of casinos on one of the biggest fight nights of the year, there wouldn't be cops out in full force ready for any situation that went down. Why didn't the Las Vegas Police Department respond immediately to the public shooting of a celebrity?

Many people question why 2Pac was cremated instead of being buried.

In the song "Ain't Hard 2 Find" on the album All Eyez On Me, 2Pac says "I heard rumors I died, murdered in cold blood, traumatized pictures of me in my final states, you know momma cried, but that was fiction, some coward got the story twisted."

The video "I Ain't Mad At Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I Ain't Mad At Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyez On Me. The video shows 2Pac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend; very similar to the real situation.

2Pac dies in his last video released under the name "Tupac". His new video "Toss It Up" from the new album was released under the name "Makaveli."

In the video of the song "Smile" by Scarface and 2Pac, many say the reason why "2Pac" never looks at the camera is because it’s a look-alike. Also the video shows a car just like the one 2Pac got shot in… and the car has bullet holes in it.

* Then there are theories that are just plain bizarre:

If you rearrange the letters in the album title Makaveli The Don Killuminati The 7 Day Theory You can make the sentence "Ok on tha 7th u think I'm dead yet I'm really alive". Try it for yourself.

In the CD booklet of the R U Still Down album, the following is written "Keep the faith in me I wont let u down...love 2Pac." This album was released more than a year after 2Pac's death.

* And then there are theories that are just plain bogus:

A statute of limitations allegedly says that, by law, if a person faked his death (which is illegal) for 7 years, he cannot be convicted by the law. This is not true.

Supposedly there is a law that says that if there were 2 or more physical attempts on your life, you then have the legal right to change your identity or fake your death to sway your attackers. This is not true.
